The leading Christian academic institutions were named according to key statistics and student reviews using data from the U.S. Department of Education.

2017 Best Christian Colleges ranking is based on the number of factors such as academics grade, value grade, professors grade, student life grade, etc. Diversity, safety, campus food and housing conditions were also included in this ranking.

1.Emory University, Atlanta, GA 
The first place in the list of top 10 Christian universities/colleges in the US takes Emory University. It is a large university that gives a sense of “community of care”, as a former alumni say. Especially right after high school it might seem like a lot of work, though it teaches you not only the academic subjects, but also time management skills, in addition offering tons of extracurricularactivities.

2.Davidson College, Davidson, NC 
“Professors at Davidson really take the time to get to know their students. They offer office hours and are always available by appointment. Additionally, our small class sizes foster an intimate learning environment,” says a junior year student of Davidson College.

3.Lafayette College, Easton, PA 
Getting 4.2 out of 5 for overall experience of students and alumni, Pensilvanian Lafayette College takes the third place in the ranking. It has many scholarship opportunities for students in need and excellent quality of academic studies.

4.University of Tulsa, Tulsa, OK 
Based on acceptance rate, quality of professors, student reviews, and additional factors University of Tulsa gets strong A+ at Academics. Though the conditions of local area and its safetycould be improved.

5.Brigham Young University, Provo, UT 
“BYU is awesome!” states the college sophomore, “I love the people that I’ve met, the classes that I have taken and the experiences that I have had at BYU that have shaped my life”.

6.Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX 
According to the feedback of a recent alumnus, the alumni network, prestige, and job opportunities after the graduation from this institution are extremely good, yet, it is the most expensive school in Texas.

7.Macalester College, Saint Paul, MN 
Very good in academics, diversity and the quality of professors, it still could be better in athletics and putting more effort at improving living conditions in dormitories.

8.Trinity University – Texas, San Antonio, TX 
“The academics are very insightful and interesting. However, the science courses seems to be unreasonably difficult – I met a doctor who went to Trinity and she claimed that Trinity was harder than medical school, which does not really seem fair. The humanities courses are thought-provoking,” states university junior.

9.St. Olaf College, Northfield, MN 
This college gets 3.9 out of 5, yet it is one of the best Christian institution in America. College sophomore says, “St. Olaf is a dream come true. I feel so at home there, each department is amazing and encouraging, and everyone is friendly and interesting.”

10.Sewanee – The University of the South, Sewanee, TN 
A list of top 10 Christian universities/colleges in the US is closed by Sewanee – The University of the South. It is situated in outstanding local area with low crime rates, access to amenities and friendly people.
